I’m getting ready to head out to the beach this weekend for some much needed rest and relaxation….seriously can’t wait! Before I go though, I have some lovely sessions to finish up and share!
I have big big love for sisters. Growing up it was just me and my younger sister Natalie, and whenever I photograph little sisters, I am always reminded of my days spent with her.
There is nothing the like the love between sisters. And these two sisters, Miss Ruby and Addison, they are just adorable.
When I”m with them I just laugh and follow them around. They are curious, fun, active, and super excited to tell their stories.
I met up with them this time at Ridley Creek State Park . We met up early, and had gorgeous light. We wandered, we meandered, we looked for frogs, we sang,
we picked flowers, we danced. Just as it should be.
Here are my favorite photos from our morning.
Thank you girls!!
I’m a bit behind on the blog recently, I’ve been so busy the last few weeks, this is the place I always seem to let go a bit. And I do have lots to share! A while back I gave away a free session to a lucky person on Facebook to celebrate 600 likes on my page. The lovely Clare won, and she told me that she wanted to do a session at her parents home with all her brothers and sisters. I loved the idea. Clare’s family lives all over now that everyone is all grown up. Clare did an awesome job coordinating this shoot, and when I got to the house everyone was ready to go.
I kind of fell in love with Clare’s family, they were so warm and friendly, and so much fun. There was lots of laughing and hugging, and there was so much love.
Although it was a very hot and muggy night, the light was perfect, and we even got some magical golden light during the end.
Many many thanks to Clare and her husband Bill, Clare’s parents Rosemary and Paul, and Clare’s sister, Mara, and her brothers Leo, James and Kevin.
You guys were all so sweet and fun, thank you so much. I had a blast with these.
Here are my faves.
